Circadian
Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Center
In rooms for bedridden children, Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center wanted to mimic sunlight for better patient recovery. Their lighting specifier, Lightcraft, a div. of AKF Group, turned to Après Illumination to engineer and manufacture an artificial skylight, one of the first, human-centric lighting installations in the healthcare market.
Springside Chestnut Hill Academy
The McCausland Lower School is SCH’s first major building project since the merger. In a collaboration between WRT Architects and New Studio Architecture, the 78,000 sq. ft. building has two wings; one for boys and one for girls.
Direct / Indirect, low profile pendants were chosen to create a warm and inviting space by filling the entire volume with the soft glow of indirect lighting.
Okaloosa School District
In an effort to get back in the classroom safely, they chose FRESH by Après Illuminations, Active Airflow UVC Disinfection fixture. FRESH actively draws classroom air into the fixture, guides it through over 16 feet of internal UVC disinfection chamber, and then releases the disinfected air back into the classroom, inactivating viruses and killing bacteria before it can spread.
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals
The minimalist design creates an unobtrusive and quiet looking ceiling while the system will enable enhanced energy savings, employing cutting edge sensors and control system for both daylight harvesting and occupancy / vacancy sensing
on a zone by zone basis.
United States Institute of Peace
Designed by famed architect Moshe Safdie, the new headquarters, located at 23rd Street and Constitution Ave adjacent to the National Mall, was officially opened in March 2011. A recent renovation, done by CG+S Architects included the 250 Series direct / indirect, low profile pendant by Apres Illumination.
Westview Healthy Living
Senior Care
West View Healthy Living has been a highly respected nursing home and senior car provider for over half a century. To keep their residents and staff safe, they chose FRESH by Après Illumination. The UVC air cleaning fixture, with its patented Active Airflow treats and recirculates the room air, inactivating airborne viruses and bacteria preventing its spread.

Specified by famed Philadelphia lighting designer Gary Garofolo at Lighting Design Collaborative, Après Illumination custom engineered and manufactured a High Bay that had to meet the following stringent specs.
• 75,000 lumens, LED
• Round configuration
• 0-10V dimmable
• Exterior to be all matte black to blend into the background
• Custom, regressed lens, frosted, to block lit LEDs from direct view
• Custom mounting bracket for aircraft cable
