I'm no clairvoyant, just a long time believer
Hard to believe I've been posting links to peer reviewed, published studies and papers pointing out how light therapy ( Photobiomodulation) is showing promise in treating Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative diseases as well as traumatic brain injuries including sports related concussions.
While its amazing to actually see the promise in the results of these studies, I use the term "hard to believe" as a figure of speech because.... for me, it's not hard to believe at all. As a matter of fact, for me, it was never hard to believe.
Here's a video interview I did back in 2014, when I was still with the last company I started, LumenOptix.
It's 10 years ago, and with the speed of technology and research advancements in LEDs and the connection between light and health, it might as well have been a century ago. I may have gotten some of the "why" and "how" wrong, but I'm satisfied I was looking in the right direction.
It's amazing to see it starting to become real. Nearly all of the studies I've read, and there's been MANY, nearly all of them reference light therapy as non-pharmacological (a.k.a. Photobiomodulation), and all of them have pointed out there was NO ADVERSE EFFECTS.
Can’t wait to see what the next 10 years holds. Really exciting stuff.
Video below if you're so inclined to watch.
